Amazing! Severans?
Is it for AW magazine or some book?
Is this the execution of Pescennius Niger?
In this view it could also be Clodius Albinus but all those claimnats look older at that time than guy executed here-and mainly Mr.Shumate call it “DECIMATIO”which points on execution of a common soldier.
